Tesla is making Powerwall easier to adopt by lowering the upfront financial barrier for homeowners.

The company has introduced a Powerwall Lease option, giving eligible customers a monthly-payment path to Tesla’s home battery backup system instead of requiring the full installed cost at purchase. Pricing and availability can vary by home, location, and installation requirements.

Powerwall is Tesla’s residential energy storage product. It stores electricity from the grid or a solar system and can automatically power a home during an outage.
