Tesla’s Cybercab has again been spotted in the wild, and this time the detail drawing attention is not its steering-wheel-free cabin or compact two-seat shape. It is the front light bar.

According to a new sighting reported by Not a Tesla App, the Cybercab’s front LED strip appeared to glow purple, suggesting the hardware may be capable of RGB color output rather than being limited to a fixed white or amber lighting pattern. Tesla has not confirmed whether the Cybercab’s light bar is RGB, nor has it detailed how the lighting system will function on a production vehicle.

That distinction matters. Prototype lighting can be experimental, and what appears on a development vehicle does not always make it to customer or fleet production.
